As has become a Fall ritual, I spent most of October in Mexico, relaxing in a small beach-side community on the Michoacan coast, and surfing in the warm water and consistent waves. Now back in Rossland, the days are cool and crisp, and with a carpet of colorful leaves on the trails, it’s perfect riding conditions. I hiked to the summit of Mt Roberts yesterday. There’s less than a foot of snow in the sheltered North facing chutes, but the ground seems mostly bare of snow through the Rossland range. Bring on the storms!
