Pre-season at Red Mountain

The incredible inbounds ski-touring at Red Mountain has been keeping me pleasantly occupied for the past couple of weeks. With a direct skin track to a warm cabin atop Granite Mountain, deep light powder on a firm base (127cm), and all my favourite lines untracked, it just doesn’t get much better. I can’t remember a pre-season anything like it. Here’s a pic of Mat Chalmers floating through the fluff on First Slide.

Bugaboos to Roger’s Pass Traverse

Last Spring, Cam Spooner, Andrew Gross, Chris Manhard and I helicoptered into the Bugaboos, and ski-toured to Roger’s Pass. Ten days of adventure through spectacular mountains. Here’s a few pics from the trip.
