Snow in the Selkirks

Northwest flow isn’t kind to the Rossland Range. While we got  only a dusting out of Monday’s storm, just to the East the Selkirks got 10-15cm. At Kootenay Pass the new snow was too light and dry to create real powder skiing on top of the widespread crust, but on smooth moderate slopes the skiing is much better than it has been, and is looking even better.
