A Different Eye

I’ve found it an inevitable consequence of photographing experiences, that the photos come to supplant memory, defining and limiting one’s recollection. Brace sent me few pics from when we skied the Bonney Glacier at Roger’s Pass, and it was great to see a different perspective on the day. I love this shot – the composition, the texture of the snow, the sun and shadow.

    Well hello, Captain Traverse!
Your blog is awesome. I wonder how many people just look at your site to inspire their inner skier, wow! Thanks for the unforgettable day up on the Bonnie Glacier, and the lovely fire side company.
