Too much Deep Powder?

Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. I love deep powder as much as anyone, but after ploughing deep trenches through the endlessly replenishing powder at Wildhorse, returning to wind-buffed carveable conditions at Red was a pleasant change. Yesterday I had a blast ripping around the mountain in the sunshine, showing some of my favourite lines to Sonaiya, a tail-gunner @ Wildhorse.

Today a freezing mist made for compromised visibilty, but the snow on the northern aspects remained creamy and fun. I also had the opportunity to check out the new Guides Hut for the first time, finding not much of anything going on in the fancy new building but for a stylish stove, a very puffy couch, and some outlandishly priced ($485 for a local ski-tour) programing.
